Today's Harvest

Here's what I picked from my pepper plants today. I've been pulling in this many about three or four times a week, and I only have one plant of each variety. The tabasco peppers aren't ripe yet, but I have hundreds of them, too! I'm not sure what to do with all these peppers. Salsa, anyone?

And finally, after three months, I have four little golf ball size tomatoes on the vine.

Well then! I may be delivering some goodie bags this weekend.

Dehydrate some, crush them and use them for a dry rub mix or put the powder in spice bottles, add a label and give it as gifts. A sprinkle adds a kick.
I'm a capsicum fan.

I just came home and found my care package on the porch. They are beautiful. I think the habaneros will go into a shrimp coconut curry, but I'm not sure what to do with the others yet. Maybe a zesty guacamole. Thanks!

Made a big batch of guacamole this afternoon (which I hope you enjoyed) and used a combination of your peppers. I started with 4 avocados, added some diced tomatoes, 2 of the little hot red peppers and 1 jalapeno. I also gave it some lime juice, kosher salt and black pepper. It was tasty, but I was surprised at how much the avocado killed the heat from the peppers. The little red ones pack a real wallop on their own.
